NRPA Atlanta Congress and Exposition

On behalf of the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) Local Host Committee, we are pleased that in 2011 for the first time the annual National Recreation and Parks Association conference will be held in the city of Atlanta.

The Local Host Committee is comprised of parks and recreation professionals and corporate representatives from across the state of Georgia collectively coming together to form the local host committee that will unite and lead volunteer groups to coordinate for NRPA.

November 1-4, 2011, we will have the opportunity to make history when we welcome over 10,000 park and recreation professionals from across the country to convene in Atlanta for the NRPA Congress and Exhibition.

The conference being held at the Georgia World Congress Center is the showcase for attendees, but there are many other activities planned to make the conference enjoyable and memorable for everyone including an Annual Golf Tournament, 5K Walk, off-site institutes, Mayor’s Reception, galas and leisure tours.
